Information, not advice
The pages describe our services, how we work and the rules that often shape a website, such as data protection, tax forms and consumer law in India, the USA and the UK. That’s general information to help you prepare questions, not legal, tax or financial advice. Check anything that affects your business with a qualified adviser.
We link each outside fact to its source and date every page, but laws and platform rules change. We can’t promise that every page is complete or current on the day you read it.
Quotes and proposals
Nothing on this website is an offer to sell you anything. Descriptions of services, typical timelines and examples of how costs are worked out are there to inform you, not to bind either side.
Work begins only when you’ve accepted a written proposal from us. That proposal, and any agreement signed with it, sets the scope, price, payment terms, ownership and everything else about the work. Where it differs from this website, the proposal wins.
Using the site
You’re welcome to read the site, share links to any page and print pages for your own use. Please don’t:
- try to break into the site, test its security without telling us, or disrupt it for other visitors;
- use the enquiry form to send advertising, automated messages or anything unlawful;
- pretend to be someone else when you contact us;
- copy the site’s design, text or code to present as your own work.

If you find a weakness in the site, email contact@smartweblabs.com, as our security.txt file says. Tell us what you found and give us time to fix it before you share it. Please don’t access anyone else’s data or interrupt the site while checking.
Who owns what
The text, design, code, logo and images on this site belong to Smart Web Labs, except where stated otherwise. The fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License, and their licence files are published with them.
Google, Meta, WhatsApp and the other companies and products named on the site belong to their owners. Naming them describes the tools we work with; it doesn’t mean they endorse us or that we’re their partner.
Other websites
We link to official sources and other sites so you can check facts for yourself. Those sites aren’t ours, and we aren’t responsible for their content, their privacy practices or whether they stay available. Links to them open in a new tab.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate, secure and available, but we may change, pause or remove any part of it at any time.
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss that comes from relying on the general information on the site, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, or affects your rights as a consumer.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Guwahati, Assam, have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you’re a consumer living elsewhere, you keep any protection the law where you live gives you.
If we change these terms, the new version applies from the date shown at the foot of this page.
